Paraty, is 240km of Rio de Janeiro. Is a plain town with mountains and sea all around. In Paraty there's one of the best conservated old towns with a rich colonial history. It became a place full of restaurants, shops, ateliers, framed in the beautiful colonial architecture. In the historic center there's all types of Brazilian food, and cause of the great immigration that Paraty receives from other countries, you can find Italian, French, Arabian and Argentinean food too.

The area around Paraty, is part of a National park, call Serra da Bocaina. The dense jungle is furrowed by rivers those are the best option to take swim in cold waters.
A lot of islands are visited by schooners, small boats, and kayaking funs everyday.
There's desert beaches, and is possible to visit for a day, or encamp.
